Here at In Joy Botanicals, we deeply believe in empowering the future generations to live in better balance with their own health and connection to the natural world around them. We intend to nurture the children and teach them how to nurture themselves. We hope they will always stay connected to the healing force that flows within them and all around them, healing and regenerating from the damage that has been done in generations past, to create a vibrant future that honors the Earth and all the gifts we receive from her.

 

So with this intention, we have formulated 3 essential and infused oil roll on blends to heal from and guard against the most common imbalances that children face…. Digestive upset, colds and respiratory infection, and disorders related to over stimulation of the nervous system.

Roll Ons

Happy Tummy

Ingredients: Infused oils of St Johns Wort, Artemisia , and Calendula, Olive oil, Proprietary blend of essential oils to aid digestion. Formulated for children.

 

Indications: For mild bloating and upset tummies, roll on oil blend and massage in clockwise direction over abdomen and on bottoms of feet.

 

Balance and Calm

Ingredients and Indications.  Infused oil of St. Johns Wort Flowers, Olive oil,  Proprietary blend of essential oils to calm the nerves, balance the emotional body, and aid in restful sleep. Formulated for children and their parents.

 

Breathe Clear

Ingredients: Artemisia infused olive oil, Essential oils of Rosemary, Cypress, Lemongrass, Cinnamon leaf, Basil, Marjoram, and Mugwort

 

Indications: Artemisia has been used traditionally by  Native Americans for  relief of chest and lung congestion, as well as to relieve digestive stagnation. In Chinese medicine the two are related. If the lung energy is stagnant or sick then giving attention to moving and releasing the contents of the large intestine can help the return of healthy energy flow through the lungs. This blend of infused and essential oils is meant to be applied all around the ears, down the front sides of the neck over the lymph nodes, behind the neck on the “wind gates” as seen in Chinese medicine as the place where cold and wind enter the body to cause colds, and on the bottoms of the feet and chest (front and back).

 

It can be used as a preventative to catching colds in the winter months, along with proper nutrition and self care,  as well as to shorten the duration of upper respiratory infections. It has been formulated for children over two, but can also be effective on adults. Use sparingly on small children. Avoid applying near the eyes.
